Looking for a different kind of winter holiday from Denmark? Kungsleden Camping Expedition is a one-week ski journey in Swedish Lapland during the Danish winter break (vinterferie). It's an active trip for people who enjoy being outdoors and prefer nature and purpose over tourism and lift passes. This is winter travel in its pure form - skiing with pulkas, tent life, and simple routines in Arctic nature.

We travel by Nordic backcountry skis and pull pulkas through open mountain terrain north of the Arctic Circle. There are no cabins along the way. We sleep in expedition tents, cook together, and handle the journey as a team. It's straightforward, physical and satisfying.

Most participants are active people who enjoy being outside and don't mind a bit of work. You don't need to be extreme - normal fitness and the ability to enjoy simple conditions are enough. If you like hiking or practical physical tasks, this is a solid alternative to a typical ski holiday.
